I had planned to share this post on Valentine’s Day, but life happened, and it didn’t work out that way. But you know what? God’s love isn’t limited to a single day on the calendar. It doesn’t fade, change, or depend on timing—it is eternal, unwavering, and always present. No matter when we pause to reflect on His love, it remains as powerful and life-changing as ever.
While February is often a time to celebrate love, no love compares to the love of God. His love is pure and freely given to all who will receive it. From the very beginning, He has loved us beyond measure, only asking, longing for us to open our hearts, souls, and minds to accept this incredible gift.
For those who have never truly experienced God’s love, it can be difficult to comprehend. But when you accept His gift and open your heart, you will encounter a love that transforms you from the inside out. This is why believers have such faith—we don’t have to see Him to know He is real; we feel His presence, His love, and His guidance every day.
I remember the moment I rededicated my life to God. I was driving alone from Tennessee, and in that quiet momens, His love overwhelmed me. Before that then, I had known God’s love, but I had never felt it so deeply. It was unlike anything I had ever known—accepting, and beyond words. In that moment, I knew I belonged to Him, and my life has never been the same since. When you surrender to Him, when you truly open your heart, His love changes everything. It brings peace, healing, and purpose beyond what this world can offer.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV), “Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” God’s love is eternal and unchanging, not based on our works or worthiness, but on His divine nature.

Yet, as much as He loves us, God does not force His love upon us. He gives us the freedom to choose Him. Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) declares, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.” The greatest decision we can make is to accept His love, grace, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
When Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross, it was the ultimate expression of God’s love. John 3:16 (KJV) reminds us, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This love is offered to everyone, but we must choose to receive it.
God will not beg us to love Him, but He continually calls us into a relationship with Him. He wants us to lay aside our fears, doubts, and distractions, and fully embrace the gift of His love. Revelation 3:20 (KJV) says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Today, and every day, let us open our hearts to the One who loves us most. Let us choose His amazing grace and love, accepting the peace and joy that only He can provide. If you’ve never experienced God’s love, I encourage you to take a step of faith—ask Him to reveal Himself to you, to fill your heart with His presence. He is faithful, and He will answer.
God’s love is not just for a moment—it is for eternity.
