About Me

Hi there! My name is Stephanie Flynn, and I’m 52 years old. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, John, for 29 years, and we’re blessed with two amazing adult children, Courtney and Gage. Like most of us, I’m a work in progress and that’s okay, because aren’t we all?

To share my walk with Jesus in full would take pages, but here’s the short version, along with why I started this blog and what I hope to accomplish.

When I was 15, I was saved in a little country church and baptized soon after. For a while, I attended church regularly, but over the years, I drifted away. I stopped going to church, neglected reading my Bible, and convinced myself that simply believing and loving Jesus was enough. But as I’ve learned, you can’t hide from God, and He never leaves us, even when we leave Him.

A few years ago, while driving alone from Tennessee back to North Carolina, I was listening to Christian music and felt God’s presence so strongly. The love, acceptance, and forgiveness I experienced during that drive were overwhelming. It’s hard to put into words, but in that moment, I rededicated my life to God. Since then, I can confidently say I’m a Christian, and I love Jesus Christ more than anyone or anything.

God has blessed me and my family in so many ways too many to count. The very least I can do is to spread His word and worship Him every day of my life while I am here.

I felt a calling to share what God has done for me and my family, but I didn’t know how. That’s when the idea for this blog began to take shape. At first, I ignored it and questioned it for over a year, thinking, “But God, I’m not a writer. I don’t know what I’m doing.” However, I realized that obedience to God is more important than my insecurities. I trust that He will guide me every step of the way.

What This Blog Is About

This blog is a place for women to deepen their connection with Jesus through Bible study and journaling. If you’re unsure where or how to start journaling, don’t worry stick around! I’ll show you how, and we’ll have a lot of fun along the way.

My vision is to create a community of women of all ages who share, learn, and worship Christ together. I want this to be a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, leaning on one another, and finding encouragement, because let’s face it life can be tough at any age.

So, that’s a little about me and why I started this blog. I’m so excited to get to know each and every one of you. Let’s grow together in faith, creativity, and love for our Savior!
